Aerofly FS Global is the closest thing to Microsoft Flight Simulator you’ll get on a phone, and somehow, it doesn’t melt your device in the process.

This is a mobile sim that pulls no punches. Right out of the gate, you’ve got 8 included aircraft, from the humble Cessna 172 to the beastly F-15E Strike Eagle. And while a lot more planes sit behind iAPs (like the Concorde or 737 MAX), the detail on every single one is mind-blowing. Real cockpit controls. Functional FMCs. Fully animated landing gear physics. It’s a lot.

But the real hook? Global streaming. No more flying circles around the same three cities. You want to spawn in Tokyo and land in London? Done. That said, you’ll need a solid connection and around 8GB of storage, this sim isn’t small.

Performance is surprisingly good, though some older devices might struggle. Night lighting, global traffic, and terrain rendering all scale depending on what your phone can handle. On a modern device? It looks better than it has any right to.

Flying itself feels incredible. Every aircraft handles differently thanks to Aerofly’s proper flight physics, not just canned animations. If you want cold-and-dark starts, full autopilot control, or to skip straight to final approach, you can. You can even reposition mid-flight, replay landings, or practice segments again if you mess up.

Not everything’s perfect. A few airports still cause crashes. Lighting transitions could be smoother. And yes, the global scenery is locked behind a subscription, which might be a deal-breaker for some. But the base content is already massive, and that sub is cheaper than its competitors.

One thing that really impressed me was the pushback system, you literally control the truck from a third-person view. Show me another mobile sim that lets you do that.
