Description

BombSquad is what happens when you mix a Saturday morning cartoon, a box of fireworks, and just enough competitive spirit to ruin friendships. Originally blasting onto the scene back in 2013, this chaotic party game still detonates with the same manic energy, only now with more modes, more ways to play, and the same delightfully dumb ragdoll physics that send your pirate, ninja, or barbarian face-first into the dirt.

At its core, BombSquad is a buffet of mini-games ranging from frantic capture-the-flag matches to a hilariously violent take on hockey. The rules are simple: pick up a bomb, throw it, and watch the fireworks. But the real joy comes from the slapstick carnage, nothing beats watching an “insane chef” ragdoll across the map after taking a blast to the face.

With support for up to 8 players online or locally, the game shines brightest when the screen is stuffed with friends screaming, laughing, and inevitably plotting revenge. Better yet, it’s flexible, use traditional controllers, touchscreens, or even your phone as a gamepad via the free BombSquad Remote app. And yes, there’s a VR version for those who want to get way too close to the chaos.

The Android version can be a little heavy on ads, but for just $3 you can nuke them entirely while unlocking more modes and goodies. It’s a small price for endless laughter.

BombSquad doesn’t try to be balanced, strategic, or even remotely serious, and that’s exactly what makes it brilliant. If you’ve got a couch, a few friends, and a tolerance for betrayal, this might just be your next go-to party game. Bombs away!
