Churn out a positively irresponsible number of cells, all while being buried in a mountain of upgrades so sprawling it’d make even the most committed min-maxer break into a cold sweat.

CIFI’s absurdly deep skill trees, evolving ships, and infinite progression loops kept me laser-focused on optimizing my floating factories… at least until I spent 10 minutes hunting for the right menu just to buy one measly upgrade. Navigating its interface is like getting lost in a black hole, but once you claw your way to the right screen, the rush of seeing your cell production skyrocket is a perfect dopamine hit.

Thankfully, mindless waiting is occasionally broken up by mini-games like Pong or Snake, which give you something to do every 10 minutes beyond staring wistfully at timers. But beware: without the $5 starter pack to nuke ads and double earnings, you’ll probably spend more time watching commercials than expanding your empire. Yet even with its frustrating quirks, Cell: Idle Factory Incremental’s hypnotic loop of building, upgrading, and chasing that next prestige keeps pulling me back into its galaxy of grind.
