Endless Nightmare 2: Hospital doesn’t waste any time before dunking you headfirst into the deep end of Oak Town’s supernatural cesspool. You’re Jake, a man on a mission to investigate some missing-persons cases, but instead you find yourself solving puzzles, looting syringes, and stabbing ghosts in the back like some kind of spooky Solid Snake.

This is survival horror boiled down to its rawest form: sparse ammo, chunky guns, and a whole lot of hiding in cabinets praying the legless ghost lady doesn’t smell your fear. One wrong step, and you’re respawning with half health… after watching a 30-second ad about crypto farming or car insurance. Real horror.

But there’s something magnetic about Hospital’s rhythm. You creep down eerily lit corridors to the drip-drip-drip of distant pipes, knife gripped tight, hoping that the next room has more bullets, or at least fewer burlap-sack dudes staring at walls like cursed Roombas. The stealth mechanics feel tight, the gunplay lands just right, and the talents system adds a dash of progression to the madness.

Yes, the puzzles are about as challenging as opening a childproof cap with dry hands, and the enemies feel stitched together from horror tropes pulled off the clearance rack. But when Endless Nightmare 2 clicks, it delivers genuine tension in bite-sized bursts. It’s messy. It’s ad-packed. But it’s also kind of brilliant in its own janky, haunted-house way.
