Flappy Modi it’s exactly what it sounds like, and yes, I played way too much of it.

In Flappy Modi, you tap to keep a cartoonified version of India’s Prime Minister airborne as he weaves between pipes like a determined digital sparrow. It’s basically Flappy Bird with a political skin, but somehow, against all odds, that goofy re-skin works.

This unofficial clone doesn’t reinvent the wheel, nor does it try to. Instead, it proudly flaps along the well-worn 8-bit runway laid out by its avian predecessor, complete with twitchy gravity physics, brutal timing windows, and that same tiny burst of adrenaline every time you barely sneak through a gap. What sets it apart? Well, this time you’re racking up coins with Modi’s mustache trailing in the breeze.

Flappy Modi lives and dies on its simplicity: one tap to jump, one mistake to crash. No upgrades, no second chances, no ads screaming for your wallet every two seconds. Just pure, distilled, masochistic platforming. And it’s fun. Like, “why am I still playing this at 2AM?” fun.

Graphically, it’s retro and a little janky, but in the best way. The pixel art has that scrappy, Flash-era charm, and the goofy sound effects somehow elevate the absurdity. Every bounce and bop feels slightly ridiculous, which only makes it more endearing.

There’s no storyline, no lore, no reason this game exists, and yet here I am, chasing high scores like it’s 2014 all over again. Whether you’re here to meme, compete, or just punish your thumbs, Flappy Modi is a surprisingly polished time sink disguised as satire.

God help me, I kinda love it.
