This delightfully unhinged VR multiplayer game is tag, pure and simple, but played like you’re a caffeinated chimp at an elementary school recess. The moment you figure out how to propel yourself forward by slapping the ground with your virtual knuckles, the dopamine kicks in, and it only gets more intense from there. You climb by gripping ledges. You leap by pushing off walls. You don’t move like a gorilla, you become one.

And that’s where the genius lies.

There are four main modes: classic Tag (great for 3-player chaos), Infection (the pandemic we do want), Hunt (chase one player specifically), and Paintbrawl (yes, slingshot paintball). But half the fun comes from just messing around. You’ll find yourself chilling in the jungle one minute and executing a ridiculous wall-slap parkour escape the next.

The environments are perfectly designed jungle gyms, with six maps full of trees, walls, caves, and rooftops to scale. Every surface is a playground, every chase a physics puzzle. And with full crossplay and private rooms, you can easily goof off with friends or dive into public chaos.

There’s even a City hub, where you can buy cosmetics and wear silly hats. Because even a gorilla deserves a vibe check.
