Idle Theme Park Tycoon doesn’t just ask you to build a theme park, it dares you to run one from your couch, your commute, or even your pillow. This is a game about making big money with minimal effort, and it’s absurdly satisfying.

You begin with a sleepy little lot and a single sad ride. But after a few upgrades and a couple dozen tourists screaming through a loop-de-loop, things escalate quickly. You’re building horror houses, log flumes, and roller coasters, tweaking ticket prices, doubling queue speeds, and figuring out whether to spend your earnings on a bigger parking lot or a marketing campaign to lure in the masses.

Like many idle games, progress continues while you’re offline, though here, your park clocks out after two hours unless you shell out ten bucks for a longer shift. A bit of a bummer, sure, but not a dealbreaker.

Prestiging, resetting for faster growth and new islands, is handled cleverly. Each island grants access to new rides, and your cash flow ramps up so quickly it’s hard to feel the sting of starting over. Plus, there’s just something weirdly compelling about optimizing a theme park’s restroom placement for profit.

Ads are optional but tempting: double revenue, faster lines, ferries full of guests. You can play without them, but you’ll feel it in the crawl of your progress bar.
