Powerlust

If Diablo had a gritty, goth cousin who dropped out of game dev school to build dungeons in his basement, Powerlust would be it. This action RPG slaps you into procedurally generated chaos, armed with nothing but your instincts, a couple of swappable skills, and maybe a necromancer-fire-mage-archer hybrid build that should not work, but somehow does.

There are no classes here. Just chaos. You want to dual-wield lightning and throw fireballs while tanking with a two-hander? Powerlust shrugs and hands you the sword. Skill-based combat means twitchy reflexes and careful builds go further than button-mashing, and roguelike fans can crank the masochism up with an optional permadeath mode. Death? Permanent. Regret? Optional.

This isn’t some bloated, ad-choked, pay-to-win vampire. Powerlust is completely free, monetized only by a handful of cosmetics and QoL tweaks, think camera filters, faster unlocks, or the gloriously gratuitous Bloodbath Mode. It’s the rare mobile game that respects your time, your wallet, and your need to see demons explode in neon fire.

Oh, and it’s made by one dude. That’s right: one. guy. Years of work, no publishers, no suits, just raw passion and a Discord full of players theorycrafting busted builds and politely screaming about bugs. Updates roll in frequently, and the dev’s active enough to feel like your cool older cousin who’s been coding since middle school.

Powerlust is rough around the edges, but that’s part of the charm. It doesn’t try to be polished. It tries to be fun. And that? It nails.
