No, you’re Bob: a hunched-over kleptomaniac in sneakers who’s somehow both extremely bad at crime and the best in the business. You’ll sneak past dozing dogs, paranoid homeowners, and the occasional beefy security guard, all while looting everything from sensitive documents to… someone’s pants?

The early levels are a delight: simple, smart, and surprisingly satisfying. Slipping through open doors and luring patrols with well-placed distractions taps into that base-level “I’m so clever” thrill that stealth games thrive on. It’s like Home Alone if Kevin grew up and started robbing his neighbors.

But while Bob’s bag of tricks is full of slapstick charm, it’s not exactly bottomless. What starts as clever, ducking into closets, baiting guards with creaky doors, starts to feel like déjà vu by the eighth or ninth heist. The mechanics never quite harmonize into something elegant; they just pile up like loot in Bob’s ever-expanding pockets.

And yet, Robbery Bob wins you over with sheer personality. Its cartoon visuals, zany cutscenes, and breezy levels beg for “just one more” playthrough, even if that next level plays suspiciously like the one before. It’s hard not to root for Bob, even if you’re mostly rooting for him to find the exit.
