What starts as a cliché high school love story spirals into a full-blown martial arts rampage when your girlfriend gets snatched by a shadowy gang. The solution? Beat everyone up. Hard.

Thankfully, School Hero knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be. Across a slew of vibrant pixel-art levels, each packed with enemies, weapons, and chaos, you’ll uppercut your way through colorful punks and unlock devastating new moves. There’s a jump attack, a combo finisher, energy blasts, throwable enemies, and even a power meter-clearing AoE attack that says: “You brought backup? Cute.”

RPG-lite elements give the hero a sense of growth, but the real fun is in chaining together flashy combos while your cute pet hovers behind you like a loyal anime sidekick. Add in multiple modes (Story, Arcade, Survival), difficulty options, and Bluetooth controller support, and you’ve got a mobile brawler that punches well above its weight class.

It’s not all perfect, some moves are clearly stronger than others, and the XP system feels more like sprinkles than substance, but School Hero doesn’t overstay its welcome. It’s fast, fun, and exactly what mobile beat ‘em ups needed.
