This free-to-play roguelike plays like a minimalist fever dream of Nordic honor codes and grim determination. Whether you side with the stoic Elk Clan, the proud Eagles, or abandon them all to walk your own path, Sword & Glory drops you into a branching series of 200 adventures where every choice either carves your name into legend or gets you buried faster.

The combat is deceptively simple: just you, your sword, and a shield against whoever dares stand in your way. With tap-and-hold timing for strikes, blocks, and shield bashes, the duel system rewards precision over panic. A rock-paper-scissors core gives it tactical teeth without slowing down the flow.

You’ll fight. You’ll bleed. You’ll die. But you’ll also grow, upgrading your home, unlocking perks, passing down heirlooms, and leaving your next character just a little more prepared for the harsh world outside. Death isn’t failure; it’s tradition.

And through it all, the game never asks for a dime. No paywalls, no shortcuts, just effort, grit, and maybe a title like “The Greedy” or “The Raven’s Hand” waiting for you in the graveyard.
